Description
This cozy Williamsburg cafe just south of McCarren Park showcases a variety of authentic Georgian dishes like khinkali (beef or pork dumplings), chikhirtma (broth thickened with beaten eggs and herbs), and their famous khachapuri, a bread bowl “cheese boat” filled with melted cheese. They also offers variations on this Georgian classic, serving it with egg and pat of butter, spinach, bacon and even a mac‘n’cheese boat. The wine list offers Saperavi, a Georgian wine popularly known as “black wine” for its inky hue, which is actually a dark red wine.
