A baked or roasted chicken cut into pieces is served in an oval dish, garnished with fresh greens, with serving utensils placed inside. The dish sits on a wooden table.
Cozy restaurant interior with brown leather booths, wooden tables set for dining, warm lighting, large mirror on the wall, and a vase of white flowers as a centerpiece.

Description

Frenchette feels built to last: a classic brasserie with glossy wood, curvy booths, golden lighting and a long bar where it’s easy to imagine becoming a regular. The staff is friendly and professional, a reflection of the decades-long rapport between chef-owners Riad Nasr and Lee Hanson (ex-Balthazar, Minetta Tavern). Its exquisite yet not-so-serious French fare includes duck frites, roasted chicken and whole turbot with buttered potatoes. Natural wines dominate the list, with by-the-glass options poured from magnums and jeroboams.
