Levain Bakery is a New York institution that started in 1995 with two friends in a single bakery, who baked a massive chocolate chip walnut cookie that became a sensation, leading to bakeries in several locations. Levain proudly bakes their cookies daily with simple ingredients and "a lotta love." Enjoy them crispy and fresh right away, or warm them for that famously ooey gooey core.
