Description
Irish accents are ubiquitous at this welcoming pub and restaurant, but it's no cookie-cutter version of the genre. The East Village space is modern and simply designed, the dishes American-style with a modern Irish flavor. There are good fish and chips, burgers, shepherd's pie and bread pudding, all homemade, carefully presented and moderately priced. Owner Mary O'Halloran hails from County Mayo, on Ireland's west coast, and is a constant, motherly presence. The kitchen stays open until one hour before closing.
