Description
For over 50 years locals have been lining up at this tiny Chinatown diner for one thing: baked barbecued pork buns (“char siu chan bao” in Cantonese). Since the shop went TikTok viral a few years ago, lines are longer and the roast pork pineapple bun (char siu bo lo bao) has become equally as popular (the “pineapple” refers to the sweet crumbly topping – there’s no actual pineapple in it). Note that this location may eventually close when their new restaurant opens at 41 Mott Street.
