Morandi

Description

Restaurateur Keith McNally named his first Italian trattoria for the still-life painter Giorgio Morandi, an Italian artist from Bologna. Inspired by his images of bottles and glasses as well as his epicurean hometown, Morandi's rustic West Village space has a beautiful tiled floor, exposed brick and a crowd that's a mix of locals and Europeans. Various regions of Italy are represented on the menu, with a wide range of antipasti, pasta and secondi like agnolotti di capesante (scallops ravioli) or meatballs with pine nuts and raisins.
