Description
You can almost feel the beachy breezes blow through this slice of a space at the edge of McCarren Park. Nights and Weekends, an offshoot of the popular across-the-street restaurant Five Leaves, offers a manageable menu of snacks and small plates inspired by locales far more sea-splashed than the corner of Bedford and Manhattan. With stools that line the sidewalk in warm weather, the street-watching scene is great, cheap fun. Top-notch cocktails, a creative brunch (tropical fruit salad, chorizo sliders) and local delivery make it an especially indispensible neighborhood addition.
