Description

Ootoya's specialty is traditional Japanese home cooking in set-meal style, or teishoku. The dishes consist of meat or fish, rice, miso soup and pickled vegetables, plus soba (buckwheat noodles) made fresh every morning. The space, in Greenwich Village just south of Union Square, features an attractive modern, minimalist design.
