Oro

Out of Business

Description

Adding to the burgeoning food scene in Long Island City is Oro, serving seasonal Italian cuisine from chef Scott Andriani. Floor-to-ceiling windows give the space a bright, inviting feel, while the opposite interior wall features a glass-enclosed, refrigerated wine display with more than 200 bottles that also serve as artwork. The menu consists of a raw bar, homemade pizzas and pastas, a brick oven chicken with cauliflower puree, veal short rib ossobucco, plus a handful of fish options. And—as expected—there is a wine list with ample options from the United States and Italy.
