Park Side Restaurant
Description
It may be one of the last few long-standing red-sauce spots in New York City, and there’s a reason it’s stayed bustling for decades. Here, visitors come from near and far to feast on old-school Italian like baked clams and chicken parmesan atop white tablecloths, surrounded by photographs of Marilyn Monroe. And while free bread baskets seem to have fallen from dining tradition, Park Side’s—which come with meats and cheese—are often raved about.
