Shun

Description

Shun is an upscale, minimalist French experience with Japanese influences, found upstairs from sister spot Le Jardinier in Midtown East. Michelin-starred chef Alain Verzeroli oversees both. His seasonal tasting menu is served in three or four courses and might include sea urchin custard, turbot with artichokes and salted plum brown butter, and Long Island duck à l’orange with peaches and cherries. It’s all exquisitely presented on artisanal tableware imported from Japan and France. A similarly elegant cocktail lounge sits adjacent to the dining room.
