In a bygone era, New York City counted itself among this country’s greasy spoon hubs. Condos and skyscrapers have nudged many of those humble eateries out of the way, but this Chelsea spot has managed to hold its ground. Expect nothing fancy: this is an old school diner with a menu of breaded, smothered and deep fried items to match.
