Description

Twilight Lounge is a modern Chinese kitchen in the East Village where chef Peizheng Chen reimagines Cantonese and Sichuan cuisine. With more than 30 years of experience, Chef Chen brings together the bold spice of Sichuan and the balance of Cantonese cooking. Before founding Twilight Lounge in NYC, he cooked at Café China, Birds of a Feather, Tao Downtown, and Philippe. His journey began in a coastal town in Guangdong, where he ran a neighborhood bar known for late-night stir-fries and cold beer. Twilight Lounge is his first family-owned kitchen—where every dish is a story from New York and home.
