Description
Windrose is a chic 70-seat bistro nestled in the West Village, appointed with a rock-walled bar, rich wood detail and comfy gray banquettes. Executive chef Sung Park and chef de cuisine Cesar Jimenez are both alums of Jean Georges, so the Korean fusion dishes are fine-tuned. Look for slow-cooked pork belly confit with kimchi purée, seafood gumbo with rice-based gnocchi and the prawn egg noodles with spicy gochujang beurre blanc.
