Xolo

Description

Xolo serves contemporary Mexican cuisine with a dash of tradition for good measure. Owner Jorge Boetto, born and raised in Mexico City, has been in the restaurant business for nearly two decades. The space is casual and fun, with great views of the Williamsburg Bridge. Artist Gigi Boetto created paintings that adorn the walls, and a sculpture of "Carmen," the Xoloitzcuintli (national dog of Mexico). Builder and model maker Bruce Johanns created custom made lighting, furniture and installation pieces.
