Description
Zusik’s soy-glazed pork buns are soft and spongy, piquant with pickles and bean paste aioli. The browned, mayo-squiggled pancake embedded with kimchi and topped with spicy slaw is another winner served in the dark, seductive dining room. On nice days, the doors by the bar up front are thrown open, making for a pleasant space to unwind over whiskey, wine or Asian-themed cocktails. Executive chef and co-owner Yurum Nam, who is from South Korea and worked stints at The Modern and Gramercy Tavern, adds his own modern twists to the dishes on offer.
