Bushwick Flea

Out of Business

Description

Now that the original Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene and its Williamsburg successor have become so popular, founder Rob Abner is taking things back to basics with this Bushwick-based market. Though smaller than its fellow fleas, the same array of wares is on offer, including vintage clothing, one-of-a-kind tchotchkes, antique furnishings and the occasional vinyl record. More than 25 vendors are involved, although the number is expected to rise as high as 50 by summer's end. Purveyors of local specialty foods are located on-site as well, in case you work up an appetite searching the racks.
