Enzo's of Arthur Avenue
4
2339 Arthur Ave.
A recent addition to the Italian food enclave in the Bronx, Enzo’s of Arthur Avenue has the feel of a warm, neighborly bistro with a culinary school pedigree. Discussions heat up when the topic is the good, plentiful food and low prices. Above the din, you’ll hear yourself enjoying heaps of spicy sausage, broccoli rabe, and garlic tossed with orecchiette, or swordfish piccata with capers and artichokes. End the feast lightly with fruit.

Arthur Avenue Retail Market
5
2344 Arthur Ave
The Bronx’s Little Italy is worth the trip. Pasta, sausage, bread, cheese, fresh fruits and vegetables—the food here is delicious and a bargain. You can also buy ceramics and other non-edibles. Most importantly, the market’s authentic atmosphere is priceless; with so many colorful personalities and a personal touch, it sometimes feels like the place hasn’t changed since opening nearly seven decades ago. Be sure to visit Mike's Deli—featured on Throwdown with Bobby Flay—located inside the market.
