Honor the late artist and activist Harry Belafonte with a calypso-inspired evening. Grammy-nominated vocalist René Marie will perform in The Appel Room, leading an award-winning ensemble featuring trumpet master Etienne Charles. Hear classic protest tune such as "Jump in the Line," "Man Smart (Woman Smarter)," "Day-O (The Banana Boat Song)" and "Jamaica Farewell.”
