Didier Aaron

Description

In 1946, former French Resistance fighter Aaron opened his first fine art, furniture and antiques shop in Paris; it was a wild success, turning the small business into a micro-empire that since expanded onto London and New York. Fine furniture, decorative wares, paintings and drawings from the 17th through the 19th century (primarily French) are on view in the gallery’s private townhouse space; the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Victoria and Albert Museum are clients.
