Description
Focal Point Gallery proprietor Ronald Terner is both an art lover and a one-time struggling artist, so he's sympathetic to up-and-comers trying to find a place to show their work. Since opening this gallery in the mid-1970s, he's made it a welcoming and hospitable haven for art-world knowns and unknowns alike, and regularly puts out calls inviting young local artists to submit work to be considered. For visitors, the gallery offers a chance to celebrate artists from Bronx to far beyond, working in every medium, and in various stages of their careers.
