Garibaldi-Meucci Museum
Description
This historic Staten Island house was once home to inventor Antonio Meucci, sometimes credited as the father of the telephone, and revolutionary political leader Giuseppe Garibaldi, who would go on to champion the unification of Italy. Through exhibits, programming and classes, the museum honors the legacies of the two men and promotes a broader appreciation for Italian American cultural heritage.
