Lower East Side Printshop
Description
A printmaker needs quite a lot of room and equipment for his or her craft, and the Lower East Side Printshop (established in 1968) provides studio space, artist residencies, stipends, classes and gallery shows for the art world's finest print artists. Although the Printshop relocated to larger quarters in Midtown in 2005, it still has the largest print workshop in the country. Stunning prints are available for sale, from both established and up-and-coming printmakers.
