Description
A home for avant-garde art since its first gallery opened on Greene Street in 1975, Sperone Westwater moved into this massive, multi-floor gallery complex on the Bowery in September 2010. Historically exhibiting art-world heavies like Richard Long, Bruce Nauman, Sol Lewitt and Donald Judd, the gallery has also recently shown newer artists, like Evan Penny and Emil Lukas.
