It’s always nice to find a bar that isn’t quite a dive, but still keeps things simple. Since 2007, Park Slope’s 4th Avenue Pub has been a welcoming place to drink, even as fancier and more expensive bars have opened around it. There’s no mixology and no pricey small plates here. Instead, you’ll find an impressive array of craft beers on tap (27 at last count), 60 more bottled options and a constant flow of fresh, free popcorn.
