NightlifeWilliamsburg

The Charleston

Description

There are few spots on the ever-changing, increasingly upscale Williamsburg landscape that have been around as long as this local dive and punk rock holdout, which remains a popular watering hole. Drinks are cheaper than at almost any other place else in the neighborhood, and with a happy hour that lasts from noon to 8pm, it's easy to see why the crowd here always seems particularly festive. We'd be remiss if we didn't mention the pizza that accompanies every drink order (free during happy hour, $1 after that)—and tastes better as the night wears on.
