Do or Dive

What was formerly Do or Dine in Bedford-Stuyvesant has reopened as Do or Dive, a neighborhood bar from the people behind Williamsburg’s Lucky Dog, Skinny Dennis, Rocka Rolla and George & Jack’s Tap Room. Friendly bartenders, cheap drinks and a dog-friendly atmosphere make this dive a reliable hangout. Very little effort was put into altering the old restaurant sign that hangs outside—just a simple one-letter adjustment in the title. That casual attitude can be felt inside too, where old-school signage adorns the walls and games like shuffleboard keep the party going. In the back, an outdoor space opens up for the warmer months.
