Floyd, NY

Description

Floyd is an old man's name, and Floyd, NY, is an old man's bar—and we mean that in the best way possible. This place holds everything that both your grandpa and discerning Pratt Institute students hold dear: antique sofas, pressed-tin ceilings, a nice wooden bar and a giant bocce ball court! The bartenders let you bring in fresh battered fish (or deep fried pizza) from ChipShop next door, and they'll even recommend a beer to go with it. These guys take their bocce ball seriously, too. The only time Floyd gets crowded is when there's a line for a game, and the year-round league tournaments get downright rowdy.
