J. Bespoke
Description
For their first venture together, Jesse and Eric Jacobs, brothers and alums of various Gerber Group bars in NYC, combined two nightlife concepts: hidden cocktail lounge and sports bar. The result is J. Bespoke, a sophisticated space for sports fans to watch major events without the elbow bumping and plastic-cup beer drinking of traditional sports bars. Guests enter J. Bespoke through a tall brass door at the back of Devoción coffee shop in Nomad and are escorted into the wood-paneled lounge. When games aren’t on, the bar’s flat-screen TVs display abstract art. At all times, the bars serves classic cocktails with twists, like a “Tegroni” that replaces gin with tequila, or a take on the espresso martini made with nitro cold brew from Devoción.
