Julie Reiner's Clover Club is so undeniably cherished in Carroll Gardens that she was confident enough to open a spin-off across the street. At Leyenda she partnered with whip-smart bartender Ivy Mix, whose time spent in Central and South America informs her tropical, balanced concoctions. Bottles of rum, cachaça, pisco, tequila and mezcal gleam from cute cabinets affixed to the wall. The warm, low-key space offers a dozen seats at the bar, 50 at tables set with church pews, plus over a dozen seats at an outdoor patio. Sue Torres (ex-Sueños) consulted on the Pan-Latin menu, featuring brightly flavored ceviche, skirt steak skewers with chimichurri, goat picadillo tacos and black bean and cheese pupusas with chicharrón.
