Paul's Cocktail Lounge

Nightlife impresario, mastermind behind the late, lamented West Village spot the Beatrice Inn, brother of Chloë—Paul Sevigny has a long résumé. And now he’s adding to it with this new 1,000-square-foot lounge, located in the Tribeca Grand Hotel. The cozy boîte, where drinks are served on silver platters and cell phone use is strictly prohibited, evokes a more refined era of New York City nightlife. But don’t expect to waltz in—the velvet rope here is as closely guarded as it was at the Beatrice.
