Description
The name PDT—short for “Please Don’t Tell,”—enhances the exclusivity of this East Village bar, which you enter by placing a call from a vintage phone booth at Crif Dogs next door. The pricey but unique list of cocktails, some garnished with Chinese restaurant umbrellas, are prepared by highly skilled bartenders. A small selection of bar food is also available, much of it deep fried, like tater tots dressed up with caviar topping. Be sure to make a reservation—in spite of (or because of) the bar’s “undercover” vibe, the wait can be a while.
