Indian luxury is imported to the Flatiron District thanks to Taj Lounge. This restaurant, lounge and event space is rich with dark mahogany, elegant carvings and exotic fabrics. Plenty of plush seating in a variety of setups makes it ideal for a romantic date in a secluded booth or a group get-together at one of the larger banquettes. The food is both traditional and gourmet fusion—dishes like vegetable curry, apple smoked bacon tempura and crispy skin pomegranate chicken share the menu.
