The 18th Room

Description

One speakeasy-style bar wasn’t enough for David Oz, proprietor of Bathtub Gin in Chelsea and now the neighboring 18th Room—named for the amendment establishing Prohibition. To get inside, you’ll have to pass through a decoy coffee supply store that conceals the art-deco-inspired bar. Take a seat at one of the velvet banquettes or at the marble bar to enjoy a custom cocktail made with your flavor and spirit preferences in mind. A set menu of creative seasonal cocktails is also available: try the Nailed It! with whiskey, carrot whiskey liqueur, house-crafted chocolate fudge and smoked salt, or the Coffee, Stop, made with vodka, coffee, wattle seed liqueur and espresso.
