NYC: Above and Beyond is a special exhibit inside the Empire State Building (created in partnership with New York City Tourism), allowing visitors the opportunity to build digital trip itineraries, featuring the best things to do and see around the five boroughs. This personalized approach to trip planning can be emailed or accessed via QR code for use on any digital device. Located on the 80th floor of the iconic landmark, NYC: Above and Beyond is complemented by stunning and expansive views of the City, and represents just one element of the building’s revitalization. Elsewhere visitors can expect interactive exhibits about the building’s history and the opportunity to take a photo inside King Kong’s hand; the chance to visit the 102nd-floor observatory; the City’s highest open-air observatory on the 86th floor (with heat lamps for colder weather); and a two-story architectural model of the edifice plus photos of celebrity visitors.
