Two people sit on a bench in a dimly lit room with large blue-tinted windows. One wears a red bandana, denim jacket, and smiles; the other wears a dark hoodie and slides, looking serious. Athletic gear is visible under the bench.
Two people practice boxing in a dimly lit gym. A woman in red shorts and a bandana throws a punch at a heavy bag, while another person trains in the background.
A person in a denim jacket and red bandana faces a person wearing shorts, gloves, and a large gold championship belt, standing in a dimly lit room with frosted window panels and sports gear in the background.

Stepsiblings Big and Lil reunite after years adrift in this emotion-filled play from Ngozi Anyanwu. Their story revolves around their fractured relationship and a shared interest in mixed martial arts—Big is an accomplished fighter but at the end of his career, while Lil, struggling to make ends meet, may want to take up the sport. Plenty of verbal sparring takes place along the way.
