“Sapphire Star”

 This glass sculpture is composed of more than 700 spires.

“Citron Sun”

This piece fronts the entrance to the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, a centerpiece of the gardens.

“White Tower with Fiori”

Located inside the conservatory, the lofty “White Tower” is made of blown glass and steel; Chihuly created it in 1997 during a stay in the Czech Republic. The surrounding pink trumpet flowers, made in Finland, are accented by the garden’s natural flora.

“Blue Herons” 

 Inspired by coastal birds, these pieces are located within the conservatory’s tropical collection.

“Scarlet and Yellow Icicle Tower”  

Chihuly constructed this 30-foot-tall work from approximately 1,100 glass icicles.

“Neon 206” 

 Composed of neon and plastic elements, this outdoor sculpture features colors chosen specifically for the garden. The work is illuminated and has a different impact after dark (you can view it during [Chihuly Nights](https://www.nybg.org/event/chihuly/chihuly-nights)).

“Baskets”  

Created in 1977, this series presents some of Chihuly’s earliest blown-glass creations.

“Blue Polyvitro Crystals” 

 Iceberg-like blue crystals—made from a polymer, “polyvitro,” that Chihuly himself developed—complement their watery surroundings.

“Float Boat” 

These individually hand-blown forms were inspired by Chihuly’s time in Finland in the ’90s. (He experimented with the durability of his pieces by dropping his works into a river, later retrieving them in boats similar to the one pictured here.) The multihued _Artpark Installation_ looms in the background.
