George Washington Bridge

Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge

The [Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge](/venues/queensboro-bridge), aka the 59th Street Bridge, joins Manhattan and Queens. Riding across it one morning, Paul Simon found inspiration for Simon & Garfunkel’s “The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin’ Groovy).”

Robert F. Kennedy (Triborough) Bridge 

This bridge connects Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn. It’s actually an amalgam of three structures: the Harlem River lift bridge, Bronx Kill crossing and East River suspension bridge (shown here), its longest span.

Williamsburg Bridge

Construction on the [Williamsburg Bridge](/venues/williamsburg-bridge-williamsburg) began in 1896, when Manhattan and Brooklyn were still separate cities, and eventually facilitated the flow of immigrants moving between boroughs.
