This sturdy dough ring goes especially well with the likes of whitefish. Don’t be fooled by his tough exterior…once you break through that crunchy shell, he’s soft on the inside.

Ah, the bialy. That Jewish breadstuff that’s not quite a bagel. Hiding in the corner, unappreciated, like Rachel Leigh Cook in _She’s All That_. Once this wallflower comes out of her shell, you may realize she’s been the one all along (in the case of this shop, at least since 1936).
