3rd Ward

Out of Business

Description

Please note: this business is now closed; nycgo.com keeps record of many old and closed venues. Artists looking to share ideas, knowledge, creativity and materials flock to this co-op workspace in East Williamsburg, which has been nicknamed the "artist beehive." Jason Goodman and Jeremy Lovitt founded 3rd Ward, which has hundreds of members (from jewelry designers and photographers to animators and art directors) and includes photo and recording studios, film production equipment, a metal shop, computers for web design and more. There are also dozens of classes available, including furniture design, welding, screen-printing and sewing.
