Hillel Tenenbaum, a Fashion Institute of Technology professor known for his perfectionism, founded the shop in 1932. Protégé and current owner Chris Moore carries on the fine craftsmanship, specializing in repairing and restoring high-quality luggage and handbags. Artbag also has a wide selection of classic purses: more than 500 styles in a multitude of colors and skins.
