Astoria Pool

Description

Sitting between the Robert F. Kennedy (formerly the Triborough) and Hell Gate bridges, Astoria Park's pool offers one of the most scenic swims in the City. It served as the model for the rest of the Works Progress Administration's pools, and it still remains a favorite of residents across the boroughs. The pool itself is massive—it's the largest in the City—so there's always room to float around, and the bleachers that surround it let guests relax with an elevated view of the scene.
