Description
Barneys New York has come right back to where it started. The hip department store—a favorite of the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker—has opened a new outpost where Barney Pressman himself first started the business way back in 1923. Although the four-story store doesn’t take up the full block like it once did, the new location comes equipped with a spiral staircase much like the one customers from the old days may remember, plus exclusive collections and downtown-focused clothing, accessories and shoes. There’s also an apothecary shop, Freds Downtown restaurant and Blind Barber salon.
