Great Kills Park

Description

Part of the Gateway National Recreation Area, this 580-acre park is home to four beaches—New Dorp Beach, Cedar Grove Beach, Oakwood Beach and Fox Beach—and stretches across two miles of Staten Island shorefront. The diverse habitats and wetlands contained within the park’s limits make it a natural home to a variety of wildlife, including several species of birds.
