Description

Copenhagen’s Noma moved the needle toward Nordic food, and now one of its founders, Claus Meyer, has created a food hall in Grand Central Terminal. Among its gastronomic pleasures are Danish open-faced sandwiches (try the smoked salmon or picked herring) and not-too-sweet baked goods at Meyers Bageri. Wander around the pavilion to peruse and choose from nourishing porridges and made-to-order salads, along with house-roasted coffee from Brownsville Roasters. There's also a more formal experience at Agern, a wood-grained, fine-dining restaurant with menus by Icelandic chef Gunnar Gíslason.
