Harold Ickes Playground – Skate Park

Description

Amateurs and pros alike have been flocking to this long-awaited skatepark, which officially opened its gates summer 2024. Formerly an old softball field, the transformed terrain is part of an NYC Parks initiative to create more dedicated skate spaces in the city. With brand-new ramps, bowls and rails—plus a bike repair station and air pumps—the park welcomes skaters, boarders and BMX bikers of all ages.
