Union Square

KittyKind Inc.

Description

KittyKind is a not-for-profit, all-volunteer, no-kill cat rescue organization located in the Petco at the corner of 17th Street and Broadway by Union Square Park. The organization has rescued thousands of felines and is dedicated to placing them in loving, adoptive homes. If an adoption fails to work for any reason, KittyKind will take back the cat or help the recent adopter find it a new home. The adoption fee is $125 ($150–$300 for certain purebred cats), which helps cover food and veterinary expenses.
