With its indoor pool, fitness room, cardio room, arts and crafts room, afterschool room and computer resource center, the Metropolitan Recreation Center is a hotbed of neighborhood activity for all ages. The pool is the main attraction, and the facility offers a variety of different swimming programs, including family and teen swim, swimming lessons and women's-only swim, during which ladies can bring their kids into the water without worrying about teenage horseplay.
