The Oratorio Society of New York is one of the City's oldest cultural organizations. It presents three concerts at Carnegie Hall (built for the Society by its fifth president, Andrew Carnegie), including a December performance of Handel's <em>Messiah,</em> a New York holiday tradition since 1874.
