Palace Theatre

Description

Everyone from Harry Houdini to George Burns and Gracie Allen has taken the stage at this theater, which was built in 1913 and is known for its rich tradition of housing vaudeville shows. Now a Broadway theater, the Palace has hosted many hit musicals ranging from Aida and La Cage aux Folles to Beauty and the Beast and Legally Blonde. In fall 2018 the theater closed for extensive renovations, with a projected re-opening in 2021.
